What are the Campaigns tokens I can use on my webpages?


You can use the following tokens on any page that contains Campaigns tracking code e.g. to pass data to your autoresponder, CRM or other links. You won’t see the values, but when the webpage is rendered the browser will internally replace the tokens with the actual values …
 
[cmc_vid]
   This is a placeholder for the unique Campaigns Visitor ID.

You can pass this to your autoresponder or CRM to identify individual users or customers, for cross-device and cross-domain tracking. For more information, see the article below:

  This is the Google Click ID.

[msclkid]
  This is the Microsoft Ads Click ID.

[fbclid]
  This is the Facebook Ads Click ID.

[cmc_adid]
  The Ad ID passed in through your UTM-powered link.
 
[utm_source]
  This is the value you indicated for the parameter when first creating your link. Usually, this will be the source of your traffic e.g. facebook, google, bing, nytimes, solo-ads, or internal
 
[utm_medium]
  This is the value you indicated for the parameter when first creating your link. Usually, this will be the marketing medium or how the traffic was generated e.g. cpc, social, email or video (for tracking your YouTube videos for example)
 
[utm_campaign]
  This is the value you indicated for the parameter when first creating your link. Usually, this will be the name of your ad campaign e.g. free-trial-us-desktop or free-trial-us-mobile. This should be identical to the campaign name in your ad platform.
 
[utm_term]
  This is the optional value you indicated for the parameter when first creating your link. Usually, this will be used to track keywords for Google and Bing via the {keyword} token. Otherwise you can use this to identify the audience or ad set.
 
[utm_content]
  This is the optional value you indicated for the parameter when first creating your link. Usually, this will be the name of the specific ad e.g. ad2blue-image, free-trial-offer, etc.
 
[cmc_tid]
  If you passed in a tracking ID in the cmc_tid parameter of your UTM-powered link, you can add that value to any page using this token.
 
[cmc_cpc]
  If you passed in a cost-per-click value in the cmc_cpc parameter of your UTM-powered link, you can use this token on any page in your funnel and it will be replaced with the original CPC value.
