What should I know about iOS and ClickMagick?

There’s a lot of confusion in the digital marketing community right now about the recent and ongoing iOS privacy changes, so we wanted to reassure you that as a ClickMagick user you have nothing to worry about.

In short – none of the iOS changes have any affect on ClickMagick’s tracking systems at all.

Unfortunately the same can’t be said for Facebook Ads or Google Ads, and their tracking accuracy is now at an all time low – to the point where you can’t really use their stats for anything. In fact it’s so bad that Facebook Ads is now actively encouraging advertisers to use third-party tracking systems like ClickMagick.

As long as you’re using ClickMagick you won’t have any issues, but you will want to read the articles below if you’re advertising on either of these ad platforms:

We also believe it's going to get harder and harder to be “creative” with 3rd-party tracking and retargeting pixels, so for example the ability to add retargeting pixels to ClickMagick Tracking Links may not have much more of a future, but obviously something like that has nothing to do with ClickMagick itself.

As always, we've got your back. We obsess over this stuff, so you don't have to. We'll continue to monitor and adapt to changes in the industry, and we'll always let you know about any important changes that might affect you.
