How do I remove my existing tracking code from Shopify?


To use ClickMagick’s new Shopify App, which is the supported method for Shopify store tracking going forward, you’ll first need to remove any existing ClickMagick tracking codes you’ve added manually as the two are not compatible.

To manually add your tracking code you probably followed the article below, so you can simply undo what you did:

In addition to the basic tracking codes discussed in the article above, you’ll also want to confirm the following:

1. If you’ve added anything to Checkout → Post-Purchase e.g. for one-click upsells you’ll want to remove this as well.

2. If you’ve added any custom pixels to Settings → Customer events you’ll want to remove these as well.
