What is a click ID?


Whenever ClickMagick receives a click, it is assigned its own unique identification number which is called a “click ID.”

The primary use for a click ID is when you set up Postback URLs with affiliate networks.

Specifically, if you’re redirecting a click from your Primary URL to an affiliate network (or other services that use Postback URLs), you need to pass a unique click ID to the affiliate network. You can do that using the token [clickid] in your Primary URL.

The [clickid] token will be automatically replaced with the unique identification number for that specific click just before the URL is used.
