What is a click ID?
Whenever ClickMagick receives a click, it is assigned its own unique identification number which is called a “click ID.”
The primary use for a click ID is when you set up Postback URLs with affiliate networks.
Specifically, if you’re redirecting a click from your Primary URL to an affiliate network (or other services that use Postback URLs), you need to pass a unique click ID to the affiliate network. You can do that using the token
in your Primary URL.
token will be automatically replaced with the unique identification number for that specific click just before the URL is used.
